ATTENDEE PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

December 9, 2020: CONFERENCE UPDATE

At this time, MWC 2021 has been rescheduled to May 18th - 22nd. The educational sessions and overall schedule will remain widely the same, and we will still be at the Embassy in Concord!

To request a full refund, with no cancellation fee, please contact NCAFC Support by Friday, January 15th.

Beginning Saturday, January 16th - For in-person registrants canceling prior to Friday, April 16, 2021, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. In the event of certain circumstances, waiver of this fee may be approved by the Executive Director. No refunds will be issued after Friday, April 16, 2021.

Keep in mind, you can transfer your registration to someone else! Registration may be transferred to another attendee for an administrative fee of $25, due at the time of transfer. We are waiving this transfer fee through Friday, January 15th. To request a transfer, contact NCAFC Support.

Thank you for your support of the North Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs.  To assist us in providing the very best MWC experience, the following Attendee Payment & Cancellation Policy is provided for your review. All registrants are required to agree to this policy as in conjunction with their online registration.

PAYMENT POLICY
 

In-Person Registrants
 

When registering online to attend MWC in-person, payment is due by Friday, April 16, 2021 or upon conference arrival.  You may pay online by credit card or onsite by card or check at the registration desk. No conference admittance will be allowed without receipt of payment or approval by the Executive Director. In the event of an exception, any invoices outstanding after May 25, 2021 will be subject to 2% finance charge.

 

Video Package Registrants
 

When registering online to receive the post-conference videos of the MWC educational sessions, payment is due by Friday, April 16, 2021. You may pay online by credit card, at the time of registration. No video access will be allowed without receipt of payment or approval by the Executive Director. In the event of an exception, any invoices outstanding after May 25, 2021 will be subject to 2% finance charge.
 

TRANSFER POLICY

CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY
 

Given the unforeseen nature of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we realize that circumstances and state guidelines may require us to cancel our in-person conference. In the event this occurs, virtual educational session recordings will be made available, to provide ongoing development opportunities to our attendees. All registered attendees will be notified by the association in a timely manner and the following guidelines will apply.

 

In-Person Registrants
 

At the time of registration, in-person registrants will have the option to select his or her preference, in the event that the in-person conference cannot be held. 

Option One will offer the option of the registration being converted from an In-Person Registration to a Video Package Registration.  Educational sessions will be available for completion through our website. 

If selected, registrants will also receive a partial refund, equivalent to the difference in the In-Person registration price and the Video Package registration price. No additional registrant support request is required to receive this refund.  It will be issued automatically by the association with preliminary notification regarding the related timelines.

Option Two will offer the option of the registration being cancelled, with a full refund issued to the registrant.  No additional registrant support request is required to receive this refund.  It will be issued automatically by the association with preliminary notification regarding the related timelines.

 

Video Package Registrants
 

Video Package registrants will not be impacted in the event of the cancellation of the in-person conference and will receive their video access as scheduled.
