Tracy Mosley Named as NCAFC Assistant Executive Director/ Educational Director
Tracy Mosley is a forty-year veteran of the North Carolina Fire Service. He began his service as a volunteer with Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department in 1984 where he currently holds a position on the Board of Directors. Tracy later formed a career with Wilson Fire/Rescue Services where he worked his way through the ranks--retiring in 2015 as Deputy Fire Chief.
He has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science Technology from Wilson Technical Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science from Fayetteville State University and is a Graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program.
Tracy has stayed involved with the fire service across the state and has served with the Eastern Carolina Association of Firefighters as President and Chaplain as well as NC Association of Fire Chiefs as President in 2017. He currently manages the Recruitment and Retention program for the North Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs in cooperation with the International Association of Fire Chief’s.
In addition, Tracy and his lovely wife Wendy have been lifelong residents of Wilson NC and are blessed with two lovely daughters Mahayla & Mackenzie Mosley.
